The life of the Liberty Bell has not always been an easy one. Cast in Great Britian, it cracked when it was first rung. For many years, the Liberty Bell sat in the steeple of the Pennsylvania State House, just another bell in a country full of bells. It was a short story written in 1847 that brought the Liberty Bell fame. As a result of this story, the bell toured the United States in 1915 and was finally retired when it was placed in Philadelphia's Liberty Bell Center in 2003. Our Liberty Bell charm is shown in pristine condition: not yet rung and so not yet cracked.
